At nearly 600 feet from ground level, and with stunning panoramic views of London, this is one of the most amazing places in the city to relax and have a sip a range of champagnes.
Based on Level 42 of Tower 42, the former Nat West Tower, the view is obviously a major draw to the bar, although the exemplary food matches the chic ambience closely, and has been well put together with inspiration by Gary Rhodes and his Twenty Four menus.
For those new to the venue, the bar is an excellent option for those wishing to impressnew associates or potential romantic liaisons.

As a champagne bar it is possibly not the most economic way to spend an evening, and with £12 per cocktail, a tall bill can be consumed rapidly, but a good night can be had at reasonable costs if you go for the £8 wines as opposed to £795 Krug. The circular and narrow bar has mirrors lining the internal walls, with seating next to the windows.
You can reserve an area (usually in 45-minute slots) and the menu is Champagne, Wine and Cocktails. Probably the best time to experience Vertigo 42 is in the evening as the views are more stunning when the city is fully alight. Music is relaxing, with an overall calm atmosphere.
