“It’s Time to Set Your TV Free”
This ambiguous tagline and an equally enigmatic video are the only hints that TV giant, Sky, has announced. Set to be revealed November 18, Sky has not even defined what this product is or what it will do. So, what is this mysterious new tech?
Out of nowhere, Sky released a teaser site and video with no explanation. Although extremely vague, the hints that Sky has given seem to point towards something to do with portability. Sky Go already lets users watch Sky’s programming whilst on the move, though, so what else can it be?
Frankly, we have absolutely no idea. Apparently, this will be Sky’s “most significant new product in years,” which is enough to get us excited for its reveal.
Thankfully, we only have to wait a couple of weeks for this supposed transformative piece of technology. Until then, keep an eye on the Set TV Free website Sky has created, and look out for #setTVfree on Twitter.
