Cinnamon Kitchen

Cinnqmon Kitchen LogoCinnamon Kitchen is an award winning Indian restaurant from the team behind The Cinnamon Club & Cinnamon Soho. Drawing on the same ethos of innovation and creativity as the original Indian restaurant, Cinnamon Kitchen offers evolved Modern Indian food in a relaxed setting in the heart of the City of London near Liverpool street station.

The designer interior is carefully arranged, classy and subdued. What could have ended up as stark industrial-chic is cleverly softened by elliptical lampshades, restrained grey colour schemes and well-spaced tables. But let’s face it, we don’t go to a restaurant to muse at the walls, we go for the food.

The Cinnamon group continues to challenge the status quo by fusing the spice of the subcontinent with the finest British ingredients and culinary traditions to create modern dishes that remain classic and timeless.

Head chef Abdul Yaseen’s imaginative menu promises spicy thrills at every turn, and he doesn’t disappoint. – From grilled partridge with curried pears, chilli and walnut to char-grilled halibut with Rajastani sauce or aubergine and peanut masala crumble, everything is a fusion of traditional Indian flavours with a modern and creative twist.

Excellent breads and exceptional sides such as gutsy black dhal are unmissable, and it’s worth finishing with stuffed plantain fritters or a superb banana tarte Tatin. An all-day menu offers cut-price deals, and intriguing Indian-themed classic cocktails are best enjoyed on the smart alfresco terrace. There is a gigantic list of delicious wines from all around the world which are surprisingly well priced.

In all, this is a brilliant ‘Indian beacon’, with the bonus of a fun and stylish private room to enjoy the full Cinnamon treatment – dishes and combinations of flavours already much loved, twisted into greater and greater sophistication.

Executive chec Vivek Singh also opens the doors to the kitchen to reveal the art of his culinary creations with a host of inspired masterclasses offering a unique opportunity to learn and observe the secrets behind one of the most well respected Indian chefs in the country So you get a chance to truly explore the diverse cuisine of the subcontinent and bring it to your own home.
