Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine; the highest outdoor dining terraces in all of Europe; and 360-degree, stunning views of London. We don’t even know what else we could possibly want from a restaurant.
Situated atop the Heron Tower in East London, this swanky restaurant exudes majestic grandeur and elegance. Two panoramic, glass-walled elevators (that feel like they’re powered by rocket launchers) thrust you upwards to the 38th and 39th floors in less than 30 seconds, where the doors open to reveal the dramatic splendour that is SUSHISAMBA.
“Beating at the heart of every SUSHISAMBA is a deep appreciation for enjoying life and celebrating with friends.”
Well, that’s certainly true of the London location. The first restaurant opened back in 1999 in New York City. SUSHISAMBA has since expanded, introducing branches in Miami Beach, Las Vegas, Coral Gables and London.
Here, in London, SUSHISAMBA boasts multiple areas for drinking and dining, spanning the entire uppermost floors. In addition to the main restaurant, there is also a roof-top lounge overlooking the magnificent London cityscape, as well as another three bars.
Although the food here leans more towards the higher-end of the pricing scale, it’s definitely worth it. The price of cocktails here cost averagely what you would expect to pay for any cocktails in London, except SUSHISAMBA’s ones are far more fascinating to look at.
Must Try:
EL TOPO® Sushi
If a dish on the menu has a registered trade name, you know it must be good. Salmon, jalapeño, shiso leaf, fresh melted mozzarella, crispy onion. Yum. £12.00
