London isn’t exactly known for having the most spacious establishments—especially in the bustling centre of Soho—but Ham Yard is one of the rare exceptions. Not only is it a piece of spacious haven, but it also has one of the most aesthetically engaging interiors around.
Relax, eat, drink and chat—that’s right, we said chat. The chilled-out atmosphere paired with the roomy layout results in Ham Yard being one of the few places you can dine or drink without having to shout your conversations. It’s the perfect location for business lunches.
Not Your Average Bar
The frequently changing menu mainly features European-style food. The dishes are crafted with the season’s freshest foods, whether you opt for a full meal in the restaurant or just some snacks from the bar. Open from 7:30 a.m. every day, you can take your pick of breakfast, lunch, tea or dinner.
The décor is bright and colourful, as would be expected from designer Kit Kemp. If you think the bar is spectacular, though, wait until you see what else is located here.
There is a private theatre with 190 luxurious, tangerine-coloured leather seats; fuchsia silk curtains; and bright blue walls—not to mention its celebrity clientele, including the likes of Taylor Swift and Sir Mick Jagger. The theatre has its own bar and two green rooms, each with their own bars too.
Ham Yard also has an original 1950s bowling alley. Imported all the way from Texas, the bowling ball returns have all the features from the fifties, such as the original hand warmers. Croc bowling alley also has its own bar, lounge and dance floor. Go check it out for yourself—Ham Yard is truly a must-see marvel.
