Founded in 2007, IFAAS (Islamic Finance Advisory & Assurance Services) has been serving the Islamic finance industry by offering a wide range of specialised Shariah Advisory and Audit services to many financial institutions including banks, insurance companies, asset managers, microfinance institutions, corporate and law firms. IFAAS has also been advising key stakeholders and regulatory authorities on developing the Islamic Finance infrastructure including regulatory, legal & tax frameworks and human capital.
The company was incorporated into the vision of supporting the development and growth of the Islamic finance industry primarily in the West and also across the rest of the world. Currently, they are serving a wide range of institutional clients across Europe, Africa, Middle East and beyond, through our offices located in the UK, France and Bahrain.
Our aim is to help both new entrants and the existing players in the market to promote and grow their business in this area and to assist in overcoming any potential issues that might arise and hinder the progress of developing and providing Shariah-compliant financial products.

We provide a unique training service that covers a comprehensive area from basic but important internal Islamic codes of practice to specialist Shariah skills. Our training catalogue accommodates all areas and sectors of the Islamic finance market. The training is followed by an optional assessment, at the end of which the trainee may receive an IFAAS certificate, if successful.

Each participant is provided with course material that contains the slides and space for annotations. Our courses are designed to provide participants with the basic theoretical concepts and practical applications of Islamic finance. They are enriched by the experiences and real case studies and also through group discussions, workshops and simulation exercises.
