My client is a fast-growing investment company offering products/services to a diverse client base. They are looking to expand the team with a passionate, self-driven, and results-oriented Business Development Representative to contribute to our growth and help us reach new business opportunities.

This position is a sales role working remotely.

Job Description:
As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and lead generation. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to drive growth, build relationships with potential clients, and expand our presence in the market. This is a remote, results-driven role where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of the company.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients, markets, and opportunities through research, cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.

  • Qualifying Leads: Engage with prospects to qualify leads based on their needs and pain points and schedule meetings for the sales team.

  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with potential clients through consistent communication and follow-up.

  • Pipeline Management: Track and manage leads and prospects through the sales pipeline, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies and campaigns to drive business growth.

  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new opportunities.

  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on activities, metrics, and KPIs to management.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, preferably in the investment sector.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to build relationships and work independently in a remote environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proven ability to achieve or exceed targets.

  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales/marketing technologies.

  • Knowledge of the [industry] and current market trends is a plus.
