Description
This role is designed for someone who wants to move beyond transactional sales and build real exposure to the private equity investment cycle. Our client, a globally active private equity placement agency, is expanding its UK presence and is looking for a Junior Investment Broker to join its Streatham-based team.
The position offers hands-on involvement in capital raising initiatives, direct interaction with high-net-worth investors, and structured development within a performance-focused environment.
Rather than cold prospecting, you’ll work with warm, pre-qualified leads, learning how investment opportunities are positioned, communicated, and closed at a professional level. Over the 24-month term, successful candidates gain practical experience that supports long-term progression in investment sales, private equity distribution, or broader financial markets roles.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Introducing qualified investors to carefully structured private equity opportunities
• Developing trusted relationships with high-net-worth individuals over multiple interactions
• Assisting senior brokers on active capital raise campaigns and investor communications
• Learning how investment propositions are framed, negotiated, and closed
• Working towards clear performance targets within a structured sales framework
What We’re Looking For
• At least 2 years’ experience in financial sales, brokerage, or a closely related role
• A working understanding of private equity, venture capital, or financial markets
• Strong verbal communication skills and professional client presence
• Resilience, consistency, and comfort working toward measurable outcomes• A clear interest in developing a long-term career within investment sales
