Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Broker to join our growing alternative investments sales team. This is a remote, high-performance closing role focused on handling inbound investor leads and converting qualified prospects into clients over the phone through the sale of the company’s alternative investment products.
The ideal candidate is a proven closer with direct experience in the alternative investments sector and a strong ability to build trust, manage investor relationships, and drive revenue in a fast-paced sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound investor leads generated through company marketing campaigns
- Conduct high-level phone consultations with accredited and high-net-worth investors
- Present and explain the company’s alternative investment offerings clearly and professionally
- Close investment transactions over the phone while maintaining compliance standards
- Build long-term relationships with investors and maintain ongoing communication
- Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the sales cycle
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and investor notes
- Meet and exceed monthly sales and funding targets
- Stay informed on market trends, investment products, and industry developments
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of proven sales experience in alternative investments
- Demonstrated track record of closing investment deals over the phone
- Strong understanding of alternative investment products such as private equity, real estate funds, hedge funds, oil & gas, venture capital, structured products, or similar offerings
- Exceptional phone sales, objection handling, and closing skills
- Experience working with accredited investors and high-net-worth individuals
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- CRM proficiency and strong organizational skills
- Securities licenses are a plus but not required depending on product structure and jurisdiction
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing book of investor relationships is a plus
- Experience in high-ticket financial sales environments
- Strong understanding of compliance and investor suitability practices
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven compensation structure
