Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Art Sales Consultant to join our team and drive sales within our gallery. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for art, a strong background in investment or high-value sales, and the confidence to engage clients and guide them toward selecting the perfect pieces. This role blends artistic insight with commercial acumen and requires excellent interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships with both new and existing clients.
This is a telesales-focused role based in London, involving proactive outreach to art enquiries and selling primarily over the phone.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Engagement

Proactively engage with clients, delivering a personalised and informative experience.

Guide clients through the purchasing process, offering expert advice on styles, artists, and investment potential.

Art Knowledge & Advisory

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the gallery’s collection and the wider art market.

Educate clients on the significance, history, and value of artworks.

Stay informed about current art trends, exhibitions, and artist developments.
Client Relationship Management

Manage and update a detailed client database.

Follow up post-sale to nurture strong, long-term relationships.

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in art sales, financial sales, or similar high-value sales environments.

Strong knowledge of art history, contemporary art, and market trends.
