Junior Broker – Role Overview
Position Summary
As a Junior Broker, you’ll provide essential support to a Senior Broker, facilitating communications, arranging client and investor calls, and contributing to deal-flow coordination. This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone beginning a career in investment operations, investor relations, or corporate finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling & Coordination
- Organise and manage calendars for the Senior Broker: client calls, internal strategy sessions, investor meetings.
- Handle logistics (time zones, video links, dial-in instructions).
- Call Preparation & Documentation
- Collect background materials on portfolio companies or prospects; distribute briefing packs to both the Senior Broker and participants.
- Ensure all participants have pre-read materials with clear agendas.
- Follow-Up & Action Tracking
- Summarise outcome notes or action items post-call, distribute minutes, and track follow-up tasks and deadlines.
- Liaison & Communication
- Act as point of contact for internal stakeholders and external investors or partners during scheduling phases.
- Maintain professionalism in all communications, escalating as appropriate.
- CRM & Data Support
- Update and maintain CRM systems with accurate meeting logs, notes, and contact updates.
- Flag noteworthy opportunities, leads, or follow-up items for escalation to the Senior Broker.
- Administrative Assistance
- Provide light administrative support as needed (e.g., travel bookings, event coordination).
