We are dedicated to providing an outstanding experience for our clients and are looking for an enthusiastic Art Sales Consultant to join our team.

Job Description: As an Art Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the art pieces for our clients. You will be responsible for engaging with clients, understanding their preferences, and guiding them to find artworks that resonate with their tastes and needs. Your goal is to build lasting relationships with clients, increase sales, and contribute to the gallery’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell artwork over the phone and face to face.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our art collection and the stories behind each piece.
  • Assist clients in selecting artwork, offering personalized recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, following up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining the gallery’s high standards of service.
  • Coordinate and participate in gallery events and exhibitions.
  • Stay updated on art market trends and contribute to marketing strategies.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to sales, including invoicing and inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the art or financial industry.
  • Passion for art and a good understanding of art history and contemporary trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed for events and exhibitions.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
