FundOnion is the UK’s #1 Business Finance platform that matches small businesses to eligible lenders in less than 90 seconds and for free. We are a brokerage in the commercial finance industry, arranging debt finance for SMEs ranging from £10k up to £5M.

We are a young startup and growing rapidly & looking to scale over the coming years.. To meet growing demand, we are looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Broker to join our team.

You’d need to be excited about joining a small company that is fluid and dynamic in its operations.

Job Role/Duties

As a Commercial Finance Broker, your duties will include:

• Taking on inbound leads, having discovery calls with business owners, analysing financial documents, matching businesses with lenders, and assisting them in closing financing transactions.

• Generating outbound leads as required

• Developing your relationships with our panel of lenders and new lenders

Requirements/About You

This is a junior sales position and we do not have any formal requirements other than a right to work in the UK. Previous sales experience is a plus, but not required.

What we are looking for is someone with an entrepreneurial approach to both work and life, a good attitude, and someone who has energy and ambition to help small businesses get funded successfully.

Compensation/Benefits

Base salary is £19k - £21k dependent on experience. Commission is in addition and based on debt facilities closed.

OTE (On Target Earnings) for the position is £60k.
