The Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead and develop our sales team while driving business growth across the alternative investments sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales performance, developing strategic partnerships, increasing revenue generation, and ensuring the team consistently achieves targets.
This is a leadership role suited to an ambitious professional with a strong background in financial services and proven experience within alternative investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth
- Monitor team performance, KPIs, and revenue targets
- Build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, intermediaries, and institutional clients
- Identify new business opportunities within the alternative investments market
- Conduct regular coaching, training, and performance reviews for team members
- Work closely with senior management to support company growth objectives
- Ensure all sales activities comply with FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures
- Produce accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting
- Maintain strong market awareness and competitor knowledge within financial services and alternative investments
Requirements
- Proven experience managing and leading a sales team within financial services
- Strong background working with alternative investments
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop strategic business relationships and generate new opportunities
- Strong understanding of investment products and financial markets
- Experience working within a regulated financial environment
- Highly motivated, target-driven, and commercially focused
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in wealth management, private markets, or investment sales
- Relevant financial services qualifications preferred
- Knowledge of FCA regulatory standards and compliance requirements
