Description
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operation within a fast-paced financial investment firm based in Canary Wharf.
This is a senior leadership role suited to a hands-on manager with a strong track record in financial sales, team management, and revenue growth. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, developing talent, and ensuring a professional, compliant, and results-focused sales culture.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed revenue targets

Drive new business acquisition while overseeing the development of existing client relationships

Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks in line with company objectives

Coach, train, and develop sales staff, including onboarding and ongoing performance management

Monitor call quality, conversion rates, and pipeline activity to ensure consistent results

Work closely with senior management on sales strategy, forecasting, and growth planning

Ensure all sales activity complies with relevant financial regulations and internal policies

Oversee CRM usage, reporting, and data accuracy

Support high-value deal closure and key client relationships where required
Requirements

Proven experience in a sales management role within financial services or investment sales

Strong background in closing financial or investment products

Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and scale high-performing sales teams

Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational skills

Highly organised, results-driven, and commercially astute
