Capital Markets & Derivatives Training is a UK based company providing bespoke in-house training and educational services in the capital and derivatives markets. We have been in business for over six years (formerly known as DACME), and in that time have built a loyal customer base of blue-chip clients ranging from exchanges, investment banks to professional services firms.
Our core focus is on providing businesses with an “in-house” training and education function for their staff or clients.
Whilst there are many external training and education companies within the market, we believe the in-house training model offers significant benefit to our clients, not only in terms of time and cost but also in relevance. We tailor each training course or programme to the specific needs and requirements of our clients.
Whilst we are a completely independent company, we maintain strong relationships with a number of key financial services organisations within the market, from exchanges, leading investment banks and other key players within the market. This means we are well placed to offer education and training services tailored to meet the ever-changing landscape of the market.
Accredited Training Provider for CISI Qualification
Capital Markets &Derivatives Training is an accredited training provider for the CISI Qualification Pathways, having passed their rigorous application process which ensures that we have the “capability, expertise and facilities to provide quality training and support” for the CISI courses that we teach, like the CISI Capital Markets Programme.
Our History
Traditionally, many blue-chip firms and organisations within the financial markets maintained in-house training and education departments, that were focused on providing internal staff training as well as external customer training and education (reflecting the rapid growth of new financial markets and instruments). Many of these departments have subsequently been rationalised.
However, the need for the services these departments offered – internal staff training and external client education – is still there, and if anything growing. Capital Markets & Derivatives Training recognised this and developed their business model to offer businesses all the benefits of having an “in-house” training and education team but at a fraction of the cost.
We initially started by providing internal training services for the businesses’ own staff, however, this soon developed into providing training and educational services for our clients’ customers (through seminars and the like) and then to providing structured white labelled education programmes for our clients.
