A high growth start-up FX and payments institution headquartered in Canary Wharf is looking for a number of junior sales staff.
The role will entail contacting key decision makers of SME businesses around the UK to qualify their needs for an FX partner and logging qualified leads into the company CRM for senior staff to follow-up and open the account. This is intially a lead generating role, thus your inter-personal and communication skills must be high added with the ability to think on your feet. As you progress through the company you will do less lead generating as junior staff members will in turn pass you leads.
The role is ideally suited as an introductory role for candidates looking to cut their teeth in a fast moving, high paced financial sales environment. Sales experience would be useful but not essential as structured and on the job, training will be provided daily.
Training will centre on sales techniques and best practices as well as a holistic understanding of financial markets, politics, and trends – all essential elements to equip yourself for success in your career.
High performing applicants can expect to stay in this role for 6-12 months before stepping up into a senior sales role and in turn closing their own business. At this stage a bonus and salary rise will be received added to ongoing commission for all subsequent clients the candidate onboards after progressing into the senior position.
The right candidate must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who can work toward a set of daily, weekly and monthly goals. You must have the desire to learn and grow as an individual and thrive as working as part of a team but toward individual goals and KPIs.
Once promoted into senior sales you will earn ongoing commission uncapped for the lifetime of the client, giving you the opportunity to supercharge your earnings.
